Resonance & You
We are immersed in a sea of resonant frequencies. Like fish in water, we move through this medium without realizing its existence. This ocean is called the electromagnetic spectrum.
The electromagnetic spectrum is more familiar to you than you might think. The microwave and the cell phones you use are part of the Electromagnetic Spectrum. So are Radios, wireless devices and electricity.
The light that our eyes can see is also part of the electromagnetic spectrum. This visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum consists of the colors that we see in a rainbow – from reds and oranges, through blues and purples.
As you can see from the illustration, each color has its own wavelength. This is called the visible light spectrum. Our eyes and brain translates each frequency wavelength to its corespondent color.
But this is only a small portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. From very long radio waves the size of buildings, to very short gamma-rays smaller than the size of the nucleus of an atom.
Electromagnetic waves can not only be described by their wavelength, but also by their energy and frequency. All three of these things are related to each other mathematically.
The energy of an X-ray or the wavelength of a microwave or the frequency of a radio wave are all valid expressions of the electromagnetic spectrum.
The electromagnetic spectrum includes, from longest wavelength to shortest: radio waves, microwaves, infrared, optical, ultraviolet, X-rays, and gamma-rays.
And like broadcast radio, each frequency wavelength caries its own unique information. When we dial our car radio to a certain station, a resonant field is now active and the broadcast signal data is translated to sound.
The human body and our nervous system acts as an antenna, much like a radio antenna. It is continuously receiving and translating electromagnetic information. But we are only conscious of a tiny fraction of it.
When we attune to a specific frequency with an open awareness, thereby activating the resonant field, one is able to access all the information being transmitted on that wavelength.
We are all resonant beings, this is not anything new. We use this technique all the time, from cooking to relationships, knowledge acquired beyond the five senses, that “I just know it” sensation is repeatedly experienced in our daily lives.
