“Original Blue” – Source unseen yet Present

Aloha Everyone,

This is the story that unfolded in the process of photographing this special Andara crystal. The images and it’s revelations as communicated to me from source via this light gateway are just amazing, given the fact of how this Andara has been working with us for so long unnoticed.

This large, one of a kind “Heart” Andara comes from the original find of Andaras over 20 years ago. This color was simply called “Blue” back then, but shares the properties of Celestial Gold: It translates the “Light of Heaven” at the atomic level, heralding the Grand Shift from a world of reflections to that of Radiant Light.

This Andara crystal weighs 3523.9 g. and comes from the center, or “heart,” of a larger Andara.

Many Andara crystals tend to work in the background, like the hand of god, unseen yet present. I didn’t see this when I took the Blue Andara photos, but it is clear to see now. Linda and I could feel and see the light energy radiating from this special crystal, yet its story was still waiting to be told.

You see, in the very center of the crystal is a mother humpback whale with a baby calf on its back. It is clear as day to me now, yet I did not see it, even after I had a print made.

This is a special mother Earth Andara crystal, nurturing from the depths of the divine. You can see how the baby is upheld on the mother’s back as they swim through this blue crystal. As divas of the deep, the oceans reverberate with their songs in celestial symphony.

Overlooking them is Rainbow Crow, protector and savior of mankind, who has direct access to god. You can literally see the light of heaven being directed from above onto the mother whale and calf from the brow of the crow. You can also see a rainbow on the crow’s shoulder.

All of this was captured in this photo, but unseen until now. Wow! These are the hand of god’s helpers, unseen, yet there. Upholding our light, watching over us in our time of need, reminding us of our divine connection, for we are all one in the light of our being.

When were they discovered?

The answer depends on who you ask, like the question of who discovered America. My personal belief is that they have been in use for much longer than most think. From my personal research and the research of others, Andara crystals have been in use since ancient times, with some estimates of more that 10 thousand years ago. In modern times, Lady Nellie is attributed to their rediscovery more than 40 years ago in the US.

When or who discovered their Monatomic properties?

It was myself, Mark Naea, who made the discovery that Andara crystals are monatomic in 2002-2003 while researching their properties and origins from the tiny island of Kauai. I published my research and findings in the ground breaking document “Monatomic Andara Crystals: Bridging Science, Metaphysics, and Healing” in 2003. This became the foundation of all of the information of their monatomic nature written about today.

How can there be so many different colors of Andara crystals?

The science of crystal and gem color is based on idiochromatic or allochromatic properties and the inclusion of different metals within each variety of gemstone. Each color is a result of the way gemstones absorb and reflect light.

Idiochromatic refers to the gems ability to absorb light, a good example is peridot that absorbs all colors except green, therefore appearing green. The reason for this is that Peridot contains iron. Idiochromatic gemstones are rare and sometimes called “self-colored.”

Allochromatic refers to the impurities and trace elements that color gemstones by their presence. When traces of chromium are present in corundum you have a red ruby. If there is titanium present in corundum, you have a blue sapphire. When the corundum is pure, it is colorless. Sapphires come in all the colors of the rainbow due to the trace elements that produce each color, all in the same family of corundum.

In soil samples taken from the location where the Andara crystals originated, more than 70 monatomic metallic elements were identified. With such a palette to work from, we have the possibility of any color in the rainbow appearing.

Andara Crystals First Magical Years 2002 – 2005

As the Thanksgiving Holiday approaches, I am reminded of the first magical years before Andara crystals became well known. It was a time of sharing, of expanded possibilities and the gift of friendship.

Linda and I will always be thankful to all who made those years so special – the people and the Andara crystals. We have much to give thanks for, and by sharing these memories, may the joy and magic of that time touch all who read them.

It was that summer, 2002, when the first Andara walked into our store. Within a weeks’ time they were part of the unique inventory there. It was at this time that we learned of Lady Nellie, the good works that she was doing in her community, and the need for support of those efforts.

We worked directly with Lady Nellie and her family of friends and supporters. We learned of the many awards that Lady Nellie received over the years for her tireless service to others. But at age 83, she was on a fixed income while trying to support her extended family.

At the time, Lady Nellie was raising several grandchildren. She felt it her duty to impress upon her children and grandchildren the importance of having an education. You see, Lady Nellie never finished school due to a childhood illness and knew firsthand its value.

In 2002, there was very little known about Andara crystals, their properties or mineralogical makeup. Linda and I were only told a brief history of their discovery and given a transcript of a channeled session. We were told that they were great metaphysical healers with a wide variety of anecdotal accounts of such.

But I knew that there was much more to it. So for the next 12 months, I applied my specialty of intuitive and source guided research. I was introduced to many of the first circle of Lady Nellie’s friends and supporters. I had the privilege to interview many of them by phone, but other than testimonials, no new leads were uncovered.

At the same time, we were able to share this wonderful discovery with many who visited our store. The energy of the Andara crystals was such that we just could not keep them in stock. Even though they were kept in a drawer, they managed to appear at just the right moment.

Like clockwork, we sent a check to Lady Nellie once a month from the sales of her magical crystals. This was a windfall for Lady Nellie, as she was now able to meet her family’s needs in the most simple of things we normally take for granted.

Lady Nellie could not read or write, but was able to dictate her thank you letters to Linda and I with the help of a friend. She also sent us gift Andara crystals to show her appreciation and gratitude. It was at this time that we were told of the poverty she was dealing with and how the proceeds we sent were a godsend.

As I continued interviewing the inner circle, I was guided to Patrick Bailey who had the soil from the location of the Andara crystals analyzed. The part that Patrick played would take an entire chapter to cover and I have written about it previously. Suffice to say, Patrick and the information that he uncovered was the key to the mystery of the Andara crystal’s metaphysical properties.

Not very many people knew of Patrick at that time, as he was a research scientist more than a meta-physician. When I finally got to interview him, I was greeted with a professional perspective and an open heart. Patrick shared his story of meeting Lady Nellie with me, and how divine circumstance completed his puzzle and mine also.

I shared with Patrick what I had put together in my research and how his discovery tied it all together. Patrick was impressed with all that had been uncovered, and asked if he could send people who were asking him about Andara crystals my way. I said I would be honored to help in any way.

More than six months had passed by then, and the Andara crystals continued to do well at the store. The very basics of modern life were again a part of Lady Nellie’s family. Her washing machine had died a while ago, but now she could replace it. And when her refrigerator died, the funds were there to purchase a new one. The stress of a house full of aging and failing appliances was no longer a constant worry.

My search with source’s help had now led me to the cornucopia of discoveries. There was a lot of reading and scientific research to ingest and correlate to the known anecdotal stories shared with me. It took little over a month to complete this task. It was now the summer of 2003.

In this one years’ time, Lady Nellie’s financial status had completely turned around. It was a complete joy for us to work with the Andara crystals and support Lady Nellie. Linda and I received a letter of special thanks, as Lady Nellie named us the “King and Queen of Andara crystals of Kauai.”

Having completed my research, all of it was in my head. I would repeat it to customers and my staff as needed. I explained to my staff that hearing this info was far more powerful and informative than reading it. They tried to remember it all, but were never able to do it as well as myself. They knew from working with me that I could recall pages of information on demand.

I shared this discovery with Lady Nellie and the people who I had interviewed. Most had never heard of Patrick Bailey or his discovery. None knew the importance of this and how what he discovered was key to the mystery of the Andara crystal’s metaphysical properties. Lady Nellie, her friends and supporters were completed blown away by this news, and asked me for a detailed report explaining it.

For months I put this off, as it was one thing to verbally repeat it with the correct structure of meaning for each person, but quite another for it to be translated to a coherent written format. All of the information I verbally recalled came from more than a dozen books and countless webpages of related materials. Throw in all of the anecdotal interviews and stories shared with me and the task at hand was quite daunting.

I was also guided to the fact that if this was in a written format, others may misuse it. But my staff, friends and the Andara crystals themselves prevailed upon me on how more people could be helped with this information.

With source as my guide, I wrote and re-wrote the Monatomic Andara Crystal document. The purpose of this research document was to present a clear and cohesive paper on Andara crystals, monatomic metals, their unique relationship and properties as well as their metaphysical history.

It was November 7, 2003 that I wrote the final version of “Monatomic Andara Crystals – Bridging Science, Metaphysics, and Healing.” It was a signature moment in the history of the Andara cycle, where a new healing modality was given birth. It was also the beginning of a new level of energy and light activation for these most magical crystals.

The research document I wrote, “Monatomic Andara Crystals – Bridging Science, Metaphysics, and Healing” exploded upon the consciousness of the metaphysical community. Literally thousands of copies were printed and given away. I gave Lady Nellie and a few of her trusted support circle permission to use it. In this way we could all help to support Lady Nellie financially.

The impact of this document changed everything and gave the metaphysical properties of Andara crystals legitimacy in the eyes of the public. As the copyright holder, the Andara crystals and source guided me to provide the free and wide distribution of this document for all to benefit.

Monatomic Andara crystals were now on the metaphysical map of powerful and important crystals. As word spread among the healing community, more and more people were discovering their light and magic.

By the summer of 2004, we had more than two thousand pounds of Monatomic Andara crystals on Kauai with hundreds of pounds at the store on display. Lady Nellie could now financially support her grandchildren with clothing and educational needs. She was even able to get them individual beds to sleep in that Christmas.

It was the fall of 2004 that Linda got a message from the Andara crystals about a new color that wanted to be found. She was shown a pink Andara, and that it was time for it to be discovered. We contacted Lady Nellie and she sent her boys up the mountain to find it. They returned empty handed.

Linda was still being guided by them to have these pink Andara crystals found, and we asked that the boys go back and look again. For the second time, none were found. Linda became adamant about finding them. As fall continued, the chances of the property becoming inaccessible increased.

Linda asked that they go up one more time, and asked them where they were looking. They described the area and mentioned a white powder trail. Linda immediately guided them to follow the monatomic powder and that it would lead them to the pinks that were up there.

The next day, we received a tired sounding but triumphant call from Bob telling us that they had found the Pink Andara crystals. This was the first new color of Andara to come off of Lady Nellies Land. Linda’s vision as given to her by the Pink Andara crystals was validated.

Who would have thought that a little shop in the middle of the Pacific Ocean would be a crossroads for the distribution of an esoteric metaphysical gem? Linda and I were blessed to be chosen by them as their ambassadors to the world. From this location, monatomic Andara crystals went to the four corners of the earth.

In 2005, Lady Nellie could count on a steady income from us. For our part, we got to share in the magic, joy and healing that the Andara crystals constantly provided. By this time we were working with several different people who helped support Lady Nellie. Due to the interviews I had done for the research document, I was also connected to many of the people who had collected large inventories from Lady Nellie over the years.

2005 was a year of both expansion and change. The legitimacy of Lady Nellie’s Andara discovery along with the “Monatomic Andara Crystals – Bridging Science, Metaphysics, and Healing” document cemented their place in the healing communities psyche.

It was a year pregnant with possibilities. 2005 became the year we welcomed our son Brennan, after 23 years of marriage. It also brought forth the birth of many new discoveries of Andara crystals. The landscape of the Andara community itself had now grown into a world spanning family. The Andara crystals with the reach of the Internet were to play a key role in the revolution that was to follow.

As 2005 ended, it marked the end of the first part of the Andara story. It was three years of light and expansion, intense change, new friendships and life changes with birth of our first child.[/st

Our store, our staff and the services it provided opened the gates of possibilities for countless people. The Andara crystals were now an established resident in the metaphysical world, helping and healing people all around the world.

Linda and I were blessed with this opportunity to serve, as were all who participated. It is with great humility and gratitude in our hearts for all involved. We will forever be thankful for the friendship, sharing and love that blossomed in those three short years.

Andara Colors & Properties 2014

It’s that time again, with new colors and properties of Andara crystals appearing, I have gathered all of the new names as well as the older ones into a new comprehensive list. Though there are many other names out there for each of these colors, these are the names that have come specifically from the Andara crystals to me. Enjoy!

These first two may apply to any color:

Angel Aura Andara – spirituality made manifest
Angel Aura adds a distinct energetic quality to an Andara crystals look and feel. A misty white veil of light with hints of opalescence radiates its Angelic spirituality. Angel Aura Andara brings peace, light and spiritual healing, uplifting the soul and helping one spread their wings.

Sea Foam Andara
Sea foam Andara Crystals – representing the primal waters of our conception, these Andara crystals resonate the original blueprints of creation as possibilities. Within its effervescent depths one is transported to the timelessness of ones being, with infinite potential and promise.

Pink Category

Rose de France
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name “Rose de France”.
“Pink with amethyst to violet hues, Rose de France illuminates the essence of Noblesse Oblige, that your true being is far greater than any situation, with the freedom to rise above in divine grace.”

Lion’s Heart
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Lion’s Heart. A salmon pink in color, Lion’s Heart Andara represents fortitude and the ability to face and overcome all obstacles. It resonates as “grace under pressure”, facilitating courage and perseverance and honesty.

Celestial Heart Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Celestial Heart. Celestial Heart is the frequency of cosmic love and healing. From the core of our true being, the Celestial Heart energies heal and uplift, initiating understanding and release.

HGW Pink Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name HGW Pink. HGW: the “Heart of God Within”. HGW Pink resonates at a higher heart octave, awakening the selfless, divine energy of the “Cosmic Heart”, freed from all judgments.

Desert Rose Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Desert Rose. The color of beige pink in larger specimens to very light clear peach pink in smaller sizes, filled with light and shifting colors from pink to peach to light purple, it radiates a calm Zen like clarity.

Desert Rose’s gentle nature reveals the illusions that limit or restrict, supporting growth and change in any environment.

Blue Category

Lady Nellie Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Lady Nellie and carries her spiritual heart energies. The ever shifting color from light blue to periwinkle to a dark blue than back to almost clear is an amazing example of how Nellie shifted her heart energies to accommodate all in her healing work. It is a crystal of transmutation and living in God’s grace, as one is held in light and love.

Elestial Starlight Sapphire
When this Andara crystal first came to me, it was a deep sapphire color. Over time, it changed to this color as it bathed in the Kauai sunshine. As I was sitting with them, I heard them tell me that they were still Elestial Sapphire Andara crystals, but with the added designation of Starlight qualities. The color is deeper, the sky blue just as the stars are coming out.

Elestial Sapphire Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Elestial Sapphire. From cobalt to light blue, Elestial Sapphire is a conduit of the pure “Blue Ray”. Emanating from the core of the universe, its vibration is the holographic stream of the now, limitless as are we.

Electric Blue Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Electric Blue. The cool, vibrant, energy of electricity brings both knowledge and the movement of information in a blue stream of vibrancy.

Tanzanite Fire Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Tanzanite Fire. Tanzanite is deep blue, with an intense violet hue / purity of color dancing within. Tanzanite Fire’s core radiance is ablaze with the violet flame, transcending the old paradigm to the next octave / light of be-ing.

Inanna’s Wisdom Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Inanna’s Wisdom. It is the inner journey to wisdom and clarity, the removing of all veils and the revelation of true meaning of service that is ultimately healing and freeing.

Bleu Topaz
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Bleu Topaz. Representing the purity of Being, and the frequency of restoration, Bleu Topaz refreshes the spiritual body while cleansing one’s energy fields.

Cyan Angeles Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Cyan Angeles. Angeles, originally from Greek aggelos, “messenger,” this crystal is truly a messenger from heaven, radiating the celestial frequencies to all.

Azure Elysium Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Azure Elysium. Elysium: a state or place of perfect bliss (blessed) / joy. Azure exists on a higher vibratory plane, uplifting and resonant, it’s color reveals the unconditional joy / blessings within us all.

Aqua Serenity Andara

Emerald Shift Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Emerald Shift. Emerald is the color of the deep, verdant forest, untouched and abound with hidden secrets. Emerald Shift unveils our inner world of sacred wisdom and insights, ushering in the “Age of Transparency”.

Ethereal Mint Andara

Eternal Spring Andara

Ascendant Lilac Andara

Ascendant Lilac Andara has a truly unique resonance that aids the connection to your Sovereign Spiritual Being. It brings to the forefront your Divine Presence and spiritual light. It opens the gateway between that which is and that which is possible.

Like all Andara crystals, Ascendant Lilac is both a healer and upper chakra activator. The lilac color also shares with Andara crystals the aspect and property of enhanced synchronicity.

In Greek, Sophia means wisdom, but it can also mean light. It is the wisdom to see clearly, to illuminate and divine illusion from the Divine.

Istari Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Istari. The color of a deep blue- grey ocean that shifts to grey-green in sunlight, Istari are the Angelic beings (wizards) that guide and protect the light of all be-ings.

Iridium Black Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Iridium Black. The color black has throughout antiquity represented “Mastery of the Mysteries”, the pinnacle of Spiritual Ascendance. Iridium is known as the “Philosophers Stone”, the ultimate achievement in Alchemy.

Earth Shaman Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Earth Shaman. Grounded in the energies of nature and balance, Earth Shaman is a powerful healer, grounding negative energies while restoring balance to one’s systems.

Cosmic Ice Andara
This color of Monatomic Andara crystal has chosen the name Cosmic Ice. Cosmic: Infinitely or inconceivably extended in space or time, vast and harmonious. White / clear is the color of Light, which permeates all reality, transcending time and space, revealing our true nature.

I have not listed all of the different combinations of colors that I have seen over the past decade, many of which were one of a kind. Even some of the Andara colors above have not had more than one example of them. Andara crystals are still rare and hard to find, with many colors making an appearance but once a year if that. I do try to keep as many colors on hand as possible, but many times the supply is very limited.

Multi-color Andara Crystals

New Andara crystals are now in stock, including a few multi-color pieces. Multi-color Andara crystals are a rare and unique type, with less than 5% of all Andara crystals found being in this category.

It is with awe and wonder at the play of energies and color each time I get to handle and photograph them.

Each is its own microcosm, with streams of light playing and dancing to their own melody. As you turn them in the light of their being, new windows of reality open before your consciousness.

I only have them occasionally, with months and even years between seeing them again. As such, they are a rare treat when I do have them.

I have been asked if they represent a new frequency that blends the old systems with the new age we are entering into.

As Andara crystals, they contain the same energy as the single colored ones. The difference being these multi-color Andara are best described as musical pieces as compared to the resonant chord of single color stones.

The composition of hues and tones create something unique for each person that experiences them. Like an orchestrated piece, each will hear that which resonates with them.

And each time you work with them, more of their music is revealed, with new melodies and movements taking place.

It is the process of revelation, of being in the present moment, of wei wu wei, movement without moving, knowing without knowledge, existing as the now that is.

All Andara crystals point to this timeless, stateless and ultimately indescribable existence of our true being in and as source.
