Showroom Pickup

For those of you on Kauai, we have just added Showroom pickup as an option.  You can now shop online and pickup at our showroom in Lihue.  Once payment has been processed, you will  be contacted by Mark with pickup arrangements.  You may also use the "Special Instructions or Comments About Your Order" of the "Step 1 of 3 - Delivery Information" section or the "contact us" page to arrange a pickup. You can also call the number listed on the "contact us" page.

Shipping Methods and Carriers

We use Federal Express (FedEx) and USPS exclusively for shipping options, and you can choose the most appropriate delivery method for your desired shipping address. Most items may be shipped to P.O. boxes with USPS; FedEx does not ship to P.O. boxes. If you wish to use a different method, please contact us by email to make arrangements.

Insurance is added to all orders over $100.00 for the protection of the customer and Life’s Treasures Kauai, and is optional for orders under $100.00. Insurance is calculated on the total value of the items purchased, and does not include taxes, shipping and handling costs. Insurance is highly recommended even though it is optional for orders under $100.00. See Insurance table below for insurance fees:

Insurance Fees are calculated separately from shipping costs, and are not included in shipping estimates. Insurance Fees are shown on the “step 2 of 3” Checkout screen either in the “Your Total” box or as optional in “Shipping Insurance” box. For merchandise over $5000, the customer will be notified by email on the additional insurance required.

When you are viewing the contents of your shopping cart, you can check shipping costs by clicking on the “estimate shipping” button. You will be able to view the estimated shipping costs for all available shipping methods that we offer.

                   

How are shipping and delivery dates calculated?

You'll receive via email an estimated shipping or delivery date for each shipment on the order form, just after you place your order. The status of your order will also appear in Your Account once you've placed your order. Please check there first for updates, shipping status, tracking numbers and expected delivery date.

Our estimated shipping dates are based on several factors, including the destination address, the shipping options you've chosen, and how quickly we can obtain and assemble items for shipment (in stock items usually ship in 2 to 3 days). Also, orders for multiple items or multiple copies of a single item can take longer to assemble before we're able to ship them to you.

We calculate delivery estimates by taking the estimated shipping date and adding the time it takes a package to travel from our store to your destination address, based on the shipping speed you've chosen.

For example, if you order an item that is listed as "Usually ships in 2-3 days" and select standard U.S. shipping (which typically takes 3-5 business days), you can use the chart above to determine that your order should arrive 5-8 business days after you place it.

International customers: When orders shipped internationally reach the destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures, which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.

What if I want to get my items faster?

You can select a different shipping speed by clicking the radio button next to that option on the order form. Note that changing your shipping speed to a faster method will not change the estimated shipping date, but your estimated delivery date should improve (subject to item availability).

If I request One-Day Shipping, will I get my order the next day?

Not all of the items listed on our site are available immediately, so selecting One-Day or Two-Day Shipping does not necessarily mean your order will arrive in one or two days. There is no weekend pickup or delivery for One-Day or Two-Day Shipping. Also, when you select One-Day or Two-Day Shipping, we may use air or ground shipping as necessary to get your items to you within the promised time frame. Being that we are located in Hawaii on the Island of Kauai, One-Day shipping will always take at least 2 days from the time it is delivered to the carrier. One-Day or Overnight shipping is only available for shipments in Hawaii, unless otherwise noted.

How much does shipping cost?

When you are viewing the contents of your shopping cart, you can check shipping costs by clicking on the “estimate shipping” button. You will be able to view the estimated shipping costs for all available shipping methods that we offer.

                   

What if the estimated delivery date has passed and I still don't have my order?

Orders that are fulfilled by Life’s Treasures Kauai and shipped via a tractable method (such as FedEx) will have tracking information available in Your Account. Please check this information if available and read through the following options:

  • If the tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please check with your neighbors or family members. Packages are occasionally left with neighbors, a building manager, or are placed somewhere relatively safe such as your porch, garage, or even behind bushes.
  • If the tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.
  • If there is no tracking information, or you cannot locate the package and it is not being returned as undeliverable, please e-mail us.

Shipping Box and / or Merchandise Damages?

If you discover Shipping Box and / or Merchandise Damages that happened during shipping, please contact us immediately by email to initiate insurance claims. All orders over $100.00 are automatically insured for full value. You must save all packages and packing material in order to process the claim, please don’t throw anything away. Our customer service representative will help with all insurance claims. Once the insurance claim has been submitted, a full refund will be credited to either your Life’s Treasures Kauai account or the method of payment used to purchase the merchandise.

If the order was un-insured, the buyer is responsible for all losses.

General Returns Policy


At Life's Treasures Kauai, we want you to be happy. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and will do what it takes to make our customers happy. The buck stops here so there are no rules getting in the way of our ability to get customers exactly what they need. If you have a special situation (such as delivery requirements or anything else), please contact us -- we want to work with you!  

You have a full, 7 day inspection period  from the date you receive your item to decide whether or not to keep your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, a full refund will be credited to either your Life’s Treasures Kauai account or the method of payment used to purchase the merchandise. All sales are final after 10 days of the received date.

Please contact us by email for a return merchandise authorization number. Please include your name, the reason for the return and a request for refund or exchange. Requests must be dated no later than 7 days from the date of merchandise delivery. Merchandise returns will not be accepted without a valid RMA number on the returned package unless otherwise notified by our return department. Please note that shipping costs, border taxes/custom charges are not refundable, with the exception of orders incorrectly shipped by us. If the return is a result of our error, we will  pay the return shipping costs. 

Merchandise must be returned in a timely fashion, via USPS PRIORITY Airmail or similar carrier, insured for the full amount. We will only accept returns of merchandise that are in their original packaging, un-worn and with all tags attached as applicable.  Merchandise that is damaged or used will not be accepted for a return / refund.  We reserve the right to refuse a return / refund on any merchandise that does not meet these requirements. The customer is responsible for all un-insured losses in the return shipping.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Items that are Not Returnable

Life’s Treasures Kauai does not accept returns of the following items:

  • Gift certificates. 
  • Special Ordered Merchandise and / or Custom Designed Jewelry. 

Gift Returns and Exchanges

Items purchased as gifts may be returned for exchange or credit only within 30 days of delivery.

If you received a gift directly from the gift giver and do not have the packing slip or order number (but you are certain it was purchased from Life’s Treasures Kauai), you can still return the gift to us for exchange or credit. Please contact Customer Service by e-mail. We'll ask you some questions to help us find the order.

If we're able to locate the order in our system, a representative will email you information on how to return the merchandise. Please include your e-mail address (or, if you don't have one, your mailing address) on a slip of paper inside the returned package. Don't worry--the gift giver will not find out about your return!

Once the return is processed, we'll send you a Life’s Treasures Kauai gift card for the amount of the returned item(s) to the e-mail address you provided or to your home address.

Undeliverable Gifts

The purchaser is refunded in cases when a package is returned to Life’s Treasures Kauai as undeliverable, whether the order was marked as a gift or not.

Exchanges

If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, please contact Customer Service by e-mail to request a replacement. If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, contact Customer Service by e-mail for further instructions (you will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item) and place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order.

Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive at our Returns Center. You can view completed returns and refunds by visiting Your Account and accessing the relevant order summary.

Refund for Damaged Merchandise
