ETHIOPIAN OPAL

LAPIS LAZULI . . . Gemstone of Royalty

Metaphysical Properties- Lapis Lazuli has a long tradition of being considered a gemstone, with a history stretching back 6000 years. Lapis was highly prized in ancient Egypt, Sumer and Babylon. The pharaohs of ancient Egypt made prominent use of Lapis in many of the treasures recovered from tombs. From ancient Egypt to the present, it has been prized as a stone of royalty.

Lapis is a stone said to have existed since before “time was born” and known as a “stone of total awareness”, helping expand awareness and intellectual capacity. Lapis Lazuli is the alternate birthstone for the month of September and is a 6th (brow/third-eye) chakra gemstone. Changes negative views of reality to positive views. Cleanses the mental body while releasing old karmic patterns. It is also used to relieve insomnia and let go of anxieties.
