Aboriginal Dreamtime Lemurian Quartz

Aboriginal Dreamtime Lemurian Quartz are a rare and potent quartz crystal from the Silent Grove area of Torrington New South Wales, Australia. Silent Grove was a working tin mine in an old tin mining area with quartz and cassiterite veins in granites,  the geology is representative of the granite-hosted cassiterite deposits found throughout that area.

Mostly mined ~100 years ago and long abandoned, good quartz crystals are periodically found by collectors.  A good number of these superb crystals were found in about 1998 -1999. It was reported contractors were digging a trench for roadworks, when luckily some collectors came by and noticed the crystals, and eventually a big dig ensued.

There have been a number of other quartz outcrops producing good specimens in the area exposed following logging and road works. These specimens were found by an Australian farmer while working his land.  While inspecting an old tree that had fallen down, the farmer discovered these crystals unearthed amongst its root system.

From out of the depths of time and creation, Aboriginal Dreamtime Lemurian Quartz has surfaced. Dark and mysterious, these crystals sit quietly, while just below the surface worlds of immense power await.  The rare combination of Quartz, Smokey Quartz, Amethyst, numerous Phantoms, veils, Lemurian Etching, and double terminations, all hint at the secrets that lay hidden within.

When viewing these crystals, one is able to experience the interconnected web of phantoms and veils throughout. You are drawn in, deeper and deeper into the mysteries. At first glance, one sees the earthen and dark Smokey Quartz, deepening by subtle degrees to almost black. But hidden within is a soft luminance, growing stronger as you approach it. Like the breaking dawn, that which was originally indistinct becomes clearer and clearer, until all is revealed by the light of day.
